Posted by WinterKids on Wednesday, November 17, 2010

Jay Peak Resort in Vermont is extending a welcoming hand to say thanks to all active duty service members & their families. This winter, any Vermont active duty military member serving or about to deploy to Iraq or Afghanistan--and his or her immediate family (spouse & children)--will all receive free season passes as well as 50% off  equipment rentals and free skiing/snowboarding lessons (only in the afternoons though)! What an amazing ski deal for those serving in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and the National Guard--as well as for their kids too!

In order to receive your pass, visit the customer service center (underneath the tram station). All you need is a Letter of Deployment and a military ID belonging to each family member. Additionally-- there will be a Troops Ski and Ride Day on Saturday, Dec. 18 at Jay Peak. ALL military and their family members will receive a $20 lift ticket with military ID.

If you are a parent serving in the military, this is a must-have opportunity to get out on the slopes with your kids and enjoy the mountains!
