Jay Peak Resort in Vermont is extending a welcoming hand to say thanks to all active duty service members & their families. This winter, any Vermont active duty military member serving or about to deploy to Iraq or Afghanistan–and his or her immediate family (spouse & children)–will all receive free season passes as well as 50% off equipment rentals and free skiing/snowboarding lessons (only in the afternoons though)! What an amazing ski deal for those serving in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and the National Guard–as well as for their kids too!
In order to receive your pass, visit the customer service center (underneath the tram station). All you need is a Letter of Deployment and a military ID belonging to each family member. Additionally– there will be a Troops Ski and Ride Day on Saturday, Dec. 18 at Jay Peak. ALL military and their family members will receive a $20 lift ticket with military ID.
If you are a parent serving in the military, this is a must-have opportunity to get out on the slopes with your kids and enjoy the mountains!
