Easy Ways to Stay in Shape for Ski & Snowboard Season

Believe it or not, 2010 is a crazy year for technology: the iPad, more video games than anyone could ever image, and individual access to hundreds of television stations. It’s unbelievable to actually think of it! However, as awesome as these gadgets may be, they lack one simple quality: the ability to keep us healthy and in shape.

With kids all over the world being early adapters to this new technology, it may seem hard to pry them away from computers and video games. However, it is important to keep kids active- especially if ski season is right around the corner!

I wanted to share some fun and healthy activities that you AND your children can enjoy together this autumn in order to get ready for the upcoming ski season. It’s always nice to put away the cell phone for a few hours and take some time to relax! Here are some healthy ways to stay in shape for the whole family:

-Biking
-Skateboarding
-Taking the dog for a simple walk around the block!
-Hiking
-Rollerblading
-Riding your scooter

Now, grab your kids and go!
